Thanks to SBA Flex, my life in the Netherlands has been very easy and pleasant from the start.
My dream is now within reach with the salary I earn in the Netherlands.
What brought me to the Netherlands? To be honest: the money. My dream is to one day own a house in Romania. With the salary in the Netherlands, I can realise this dream. Plus I get to enjoy living in a civilised and developed country. And enjoy the job I really like.
I've been dedicated to my work, and it has been noticed. I'm thankful to DP World for supporting my growth.
I love working at DP World. The people are friendly, we have a good time with colleagues, and my team lead has been very supportive. Overall, the company atmosphere is great. I joined DP World at a basic level, and my team lead noticed my hard work and tech skills. That's when I got a promotion.

My job is half an hour away from my house. A nice place with good housemates.

I was most surprised by the positivity of the Dutch people. And by the job coach at SBA Flex. Thanks to his friendly and dedicated approach, everything went very smoothly and pleasantly. But I also surprised myself. I'm proud of myself for making it on my own in another country.
Diversity in my work experience is worth a lot to me.
I started working at SBA on 15 February 2021. On my first day, I started full of enthusiasm in a dynamic and diverse team. I had my hands full with all the tasks and took on every challenge. That diversity in my work experience is worth a lot to me.
My son and I were warmly welcomed by the team.
The motivation to come to the Netherlands is financial, but above all, I also want to have a good time here.

You don't see racism here, like in my own country!
I started working for SBA about two years ago. In fact, it was through SBA that I came to the Netherlands. It surprised me that that people are so closely connected to each other, despite the different nationalities. You don't see racism here, like in my own country!
I quickly felt at home because the people are very welcoming.
I came to Holland because I wanted to work in another country. Where I had better chances to develop as a person, but also professionally. After the first few months, I was happy and decided to stay. I quickly felt at home because the people are very warm and welcoming. They are always ready to help you whenever you need it. Thanks to them, I never had any problems settling in. I love my job, but especially the people I work with.
What I earn each week in the Netherlands is what I used to earn a month in Romania.

I came to the Netherlands with my boyfriend to live and work. It's great living here, while I earn enough to save for my future.
What I see in the Netherlands is mainly what we don't have in Poland.
I came to the Netherlands in 2018, together with my boyfriend. I was 20 years old at the time. A better income and future, that's what I was looking for in Holland. I wanted a better chance in my life and was curious about working abroad. In another culture, with other people.
Almost everyone in Holland speaks English. So I felt at home here very quickly.

Her story was not the easy one, she was a single mom in Romania, who wanted to do her best for her children. Life was not easy and the salary in Romania was not high enough, so she made a brave decision and together with her kids she came to the Netherlands to build a life here!
